Chia Pasta with Stir Fry Greens
Ingredients
For the Pasta
- Refined flour – 1 cup
- Oats Flour – ¼ Cup
- Quinoa Flour – ¼ Cup
- Soaked Chia Seeds – 1 Tsp
- Water cold – 1/4 cup
- Salt to taste
For Stir Fry Greens
- Olive oil – 1 Tbsp
- Garlic chopped – 1Tsp
- Ginger Chopped – 1 Tsp
- Broccoli Spears – 1 Cup
- Chopped Green Beans – ¾ Cup
- Onion chopped – 1 Tbsp
- Carrots chopped – 1 Tbsp
- Black Bean Sauce – 2 Tsp
- Spinach – 1 Cup
- Water – ½ Cup
- Corn Starch Slurry – 2 Tsp
Instructions
For The Pasta
- Mix the refined flour, quinoa flour and oats flour all together and mix well
- Add 1 Tsp Soaked Chia seeds to the mix.
- Knead into a hard dough with water, roll it into a ball and let it rest for 30 mins wrapped.
- After 30 Mins, roll it into a thin sheet. Flip over the sheet and roll again.
- Cut the sheet into a square and finally into ribbons.
- Boil the pasta ribbons for 8 mins in a salted water and drain it. Keep it separately.
For Stir Fry Greens
- Heat oil in a pan
- Add chopped garlic and ginger to the pan and sauté for two minutes on medium heat.
- Now add Broccoli spears and chopped green beans. Again Sauté for 2 mins.
- Now Add chopped carrots and onions to the mix and toss everything together.
- Add black bean sauce, salt to Season and add spinach leaves to the pan.
- Pour ½ cup water and let it cook for about 2 mins on medium heat.
- Once it gets a little saucy, we add corn starch slurry to thicken it a bit.
- Serve hot with the chia pasta and enjoy!
